Lucas Tires Pros & Auto Care

UPDATE: I (unfortunately) had to bring my car back to Lucas Tire only about three weeks later for a completely unrelated problem when it suddenly started dumping transmission fluid. Once again, they went above and beyond for me. The first time my car broke down was on a Friday, and the second time was on a Saturday. Both times were completely last-minute, and somehow they still had my car repaired and back to me in about 24 hours — on a weekend! Both times they also knocked a little off my bill because they knew I was really hurting after my car had racked up about $2,100 in repairs over just a few weeks. That kind of consideration means a lot. And here's probably my favorite example of the kind of people they are: My hood was damaged in an accident a while back and no longer latches properly. I had been using a cloth dog collar to help hold it closed (yes, I know 😂). The first time I brought the car in, one of the mechanics came out specifically to tell me that the collar wasn't safe and that I really needed to replace it with a chain. Well...three weeks later, the car came back into their shop and the dog collar was STILL there. 🤦‍♀️😂 So they just went ahead and put a chain on

I am highly satisfied with the exceptional service provided by Lucas Tires. We recently experienced a flat after a large screw punctured a tire that was already due for replacement. While shopping around for a new set, the team at Lucas Tires proved to be incredibly informative and helpful throughout the ordering process. Furthermore, the turnaround time was remarkable—the team replaced the tires in what felt like just 20 to 30 minutes. Thank you all for your prompt and professional assistance. I highly recommend Lucas Tires for anyone in need of efficient and reliable automotive service.

We had our tires replaced for our car and they did a great job. They were fast and efficient. Not only did they let us know about our tires what to get but they also told us what needs to be done for our car. The staff i spoke to was friendly, informative and helpful. This is not our first time to go to them. We went back because we had a good a experience the first time. They are also affordable compared to other tire shops. The shop may look small from the outside but it is big, clean and newly renovated in the inside, especially in the waiting area.

We've been bringing our vehicles here for years, and they've consistently done great work. The team is honest about what repairs are actually needed and never tries to upsell unnecessary work. They explain the costs clearly, their prices are fair, and the quality of the repairs has always been excellent. It's hard to find an auto shop you can trust, but this is one of them. We get all of our maintenance and repairs done here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Years ago I discovered Lucas Tire. Took my car there for years was always pleased. Moved out of state for a while but I’m back in Chicago now and the other day I ran over a Chicago pothole and blew out a tire. It was about time to replace my tires anyway so I called Lucas. They helped me get a tow and got me a great deal on 4 new tires with an alignment. They even called me a few days later to make sure everything was good with the car. It can be hard to find a trustworthy mechanic but the folks at Lucas tires have been delivering exceptional customer service at reasonable prices for decades. Can not recommend them highly enough. Great people and great service!!!
